Todd Brownrout

Founder & Managing Partner
Todd Brownrout has spent his career at the intersection of media, marketing, and technology. He co-founded and served as CEO of Madras Global (formerly 2adpro), scaling it into a 1,200-person creative production powerhouse serving global brands before its 2021 acquisition by Deloitte Consulting. At Deloitte, he was a Managing Director, leading the integration of Madras and advancing the use of generative AI in large-scale content workflows. Earlier, Todd held senior leadership roles at the Los Angeles Times and the Philadelphia Inquirer, placing him at the center of the industry’s shift from traditional print to digital content.
Today, through Coastal View Advisory, Todd helps companies navigate the next major transition: from pixels to prompts. He brings a vantage point shaped by decades of experience—building scalable operations, modernizing content delivery, and applying new technologies in ways that don’t just cut costs but expand creative potential. His work reflects a clear through-line: every major technology shift reshapes both how content is produced and what audiences expect. Todd helps businesses anticipate those shifts and thrive in each new environment.

Molly Watson

Executive Advisor, Client Strategy

Molly Watson

Executive Advisor, Client Strategy
Molly Watson has spent four decades inside advertising agencies and on the client side, fifteen of those years in C-suite marketing and operating roles. Watson built her agency career first at VMLY&R in New York and then spent 20+ years in Philadelphia at Tierney Communications (Omnicom). There she rose to Chief Marketing Officer and ultimately Chief Operating Officer, where she led strategy for $200 million in capitalized billings that resulted in consistent gross margin growth. Most recently, as the first CMO at IndeVets following private equity investment, she built a nationally recognized, award-winning brand from scratch, grounded in the continuous evolution of creative informed by business performance, and helped drive revenue that more than quadrupled in four years across an organization that grew to over 400 employees operating in 36 states. Having worked as agency operator, brand-side CMO, and client of production companies, she brings firsthand understanding of the challenges every CVA client faces.

Today, as Executive Advisor, Client Strategy at CVA, Molly helps clients navigating perhaps the most consequential operational shift of their careers. Her conviction, built across every role she has held: brand voice, creative quality, and human judgment are not inefficiencies to be optimized away. They are the competitive advantage, and no amount of speed or efficiency AI offers is worth sacrificing them. Her role at CVA is to ensure that every operating model, workflow, and system recommendation is grounded in the realities marketing leaders are accountable for.

history timeline 3

Leading sales and marketing at two of the most prestigious newspaper brands in the country during the industry’s most pivotal decade, as digital disruption began reshaping how audiences consumed news and how advertisers reached them.

Headline section image 3

Building a 1,250-person global content production business (acquired by Deloitte in 2021) as marketing moved online and brands needed to create at unprecedented scale. What felt forward-thinking just a few years ago now feels antiquated compared to the speed, personalization, and automation made possible by GenAI.

Integrating Generative AI into enterprise marketing workflows at Deloitte, helping organizations reimagine how content is planned, created, and delivered — and proving that transformation works best when it’s both practical and scalable.

Each transformation was disruptive. Each created winners and losers.

But here’s the truth:

The leap to GenAI is going to make those earlier transitions look quaint.

The pace of change is faster. The efficiency gains are bigger. And the competitive gap between early adopters and laggards will widen almost overnight.

That’s why you’ll be seeing more from me — sharing lessons from past transformations and insights on how to adopt these new ways of working quickly enough to turn disruption into advantage.
